Welcome to Livingstone Kennels....

My name is Kim Livingstone and I love dogs!

I live 45 minutes north of Mpls/St.Paul, Minnesota on 8 acres and with the help of my significant other, Mike. 4 children and 3 grandchildren we all take part in socializing and raising our canine companions.

I have been fortunate enough to have always had dogs a part of my life and in 1999 I started raising Boxers with the help / consultation of a long time breeder as my mentor. While I no longer raise them, my passion for dogs continues...I raise/show American Cocker Spaniels and have recently added Poodles to my breeding program.

The health and wellbeing of my dogs is #1....

All of our dogs are socialized, know basic commands, are routinely vet checked, groomed and raised in our home.

We are active in obedience, agility and conformation. While many of my dogs are Champion quality, my main goal is to produce quality puppies/great companions which mature to be excellent representations of their breed with or without a title. "Let's not measure a breeders success by the amount of winning their dogs do in the show ring, but by the number of dogs that stay with the family that purchased them as a pup and live out their life with the same family. In that case, we have three winners - the breeder, the family and most importantly, the dog. "

My puppies are healthy, vet checked, UTD on vaccinations, well socialized and happy when they leave here.

Visitors are welcome by appointment, it is greatly appreciated if you do not arrive 15 minutes before or after your scheduled time with out calling ahead to confirm as we are very dedicated to our pups and busy schedules.

I am constantly trying to improve, and will do so as long as I continue to raise puppies. In my opinion, no matter how many years "any" breeder has been raising dogs, there is always something new to learn. There is no perfection, only the drive to attain it!
