To the best of our knowledge your puppy is is good health at the time of purchase and has been started on permanent inoculations. Your puppies immune system is not fully developed intil he/she has completed it's series of puppy shots. Therefore we strongly urge you to take the following precautions:
1. Visits to the vet: Never put your puppy on the floor or the ground outside of the clinic, instead carry your puppy or use a pet carrier. Ask the vet staff to disinfect the exam table before you set your pup down for his/her exam. I know this may sound overly cautious but there are alot of sick animals visiting the vet.
2. Dog parks, pet shops, puppy preschool and areas where other dogs of unknown health may have visited, should be off limits until your pup has completed his/her series of puppy shots.
Please provide your dog with proper diet, exercise, shelter, routine vet care and educate yourself on proper training techniques and dangers to your pet.
We are available to answer any questions you may have, but are not to replace your vet.
Your puppy will need to adjust to it's new surroundings and schedule. It will be a stressful time for him/her so be sure to provide plenty of rest, love and understanding.
Your puppy has been vet checked and deemed healthy unless otherwise noted and guaranteed for 1 year from date of purchase against any serious illness/congenital defect. You have 72 hours from date of possession to have your pup checked by a licensed veterinarian for any serious illnesses. If the puppy is examined by the vet and found to have a serious illness or non-treatable congenital defect, the seller shall abide by the Minnesota law governing the sale of dogs/cats as stated in the printable version below. There will be no replacement given if death was the result of abuse, neglect or accident, please note Livingstone kennels strives to raise healthy/happy companions to be cherished by loving families for years to come! and would never intentionally sell a unhealthy puppy.
